search options.
 
On my board, I require users to submit their location and full name (field8 and field9 or something). Is it possible to add a text field on the search page to search specifically for either their location or their full name?

Not by vBulletin default.

Alas, I made this hack a while back on request for someone.

Note, this hack doesn't search the posts looking for their location, etc., but instead searches for users who have that location, etc. in their profile.

I intalled this hack and it is GREAT! One question to you though is:

If I wanted to search and find everyone from CA I can't. I have to type in some key words as well. IS there a way to make it so you just type in CA in the location field and press search?
