Download Files trough VB3 Member System
 

Hello,

I would like to know if this is possible... but I think it is because I've seen this on other forums..

What I want is that a simple download script that connect to vb3 member database,

so, for example:

http://www.domain.com/dl.php?=redhat.iso

when a Registered User (User Group) download that link, it allows you to download,

but if a guess tries to download that link, it will not allow you to download, but it will redirect you to home page (www.domain.com)

Also I want that the real URL is hidden...

So it basically, the script check vb3 users db, and if the user is a registered member and loggin in, the script allow the user to download, but if the user is not loggin in or a guest, the script redirect the user to the specified website.

I need a solution like this. How can I do this/Where can I find a solution like this?

uh maybe I should post this under Request hacks as this hack may became very helpful for some sites including mine^^
