[Admincp hack] search for multiple member accounts by ip...
 

Is there a vb3.0 hack that you can add a option to search for multiple members on the same ip's and list the them...?

You can do this already by going to;
Admin CP -> Users -> Search IP Addresses

Fast reply thanks!...but I mean just click on one button that list all I.P. address's and in brackets how many members are under that address e.g:

192.168.10.12 (4 members)
217.176.27.98 (1 member)
173.56.63.9 (2 Members)

and if you click on the members part it list their member names, then you can investigate further...

has this been done? Can it be done? It would be really useful...

I know it's not an accurate indication, but it will point the admin in the right direction to which members to investigate...

This hack might work for a small forum, but you have to consider a large forum + dynamic IP allocation would ammount to thousands & thousands of IPs being listed. That's why there is only a search function for that feature.
