[php help] newattachment.php
 

Scenario:

I have "Attachments Per Post" set to "5" and created a new extension type "rar".

I would like to restrict the maximum number of rar files to 1 per post. But any number of attachments (less than or equal to 5 as set above) for other extensions (gif, jpg, etc)

For example: If a user uploads .rar file, and tries to upload another .rar file, he should get an error in the attachment page.

Now from what I understand, I'd need to edit newattachment.php file.

Please help me out here.

And what would prevent a user from making several posts in a row just to attach several rar files?
