[secret] tag (secret text in posts)
 

With this special tag you can have "secret" messages in the posts.

For example, in a post I can write:
[secret=John]Happy Birthday, John[/secret]

And that text (happy birhtday) will be readable by John only, and nobody else
in the forums (well, the admin of course).

Since this is a tag it can be used anywhere in a post.

Some of the features:
- Hidden text only seen by intended user
- Hidden text seen by admin also
- Text cannot be revealed by (seeing only the post in showpost, previewing the thread while replying, in the printthread view, while previewing in the threads list (forumdisplay), in the preview on the search).
- Useful for text that is intended to be in the same post and where a pm would be clumbersome

is it possible to add more then one username with it ie user1,user2,user3 etc

no, it's not. But you can write several secret tags (one for each user)

what happens if you quote it?

Could you make it so that one can send secret messages to a usergroup (by typing the usergroup id or something) ? Or have a secret messages option where we can choose a usergroup from a drop down menu ?

If you quote it you cannot see the secret tag, a secret tag that can be seen by using a quote or previewing a thread would be pretty pointless ;)

What's the use if you can just use the PM system? :P

I'd love to use something like this that supported usergroups and/or multiple users.
