Attachment Upload Sizes

is it possible to have certain usergroups (such as admin) be able to post an attachment bigger than the setting of the board... in short can i specify what size the attachments can be for each group

Sure, go to:
Admin CP -> Usergroups -> Usergroup Manager -> Choose the usergroup -> Attachment Permissions -> Second Option

no i think either im misunderstanding what the option means or i wasnt clear... either way my fault

Space (in bytes) that a user's total attachment usage may consume
does that mean that is how much one upload can be?
or a monthly amount they can upload???

Basically it means how much a user can upload, but it has to be specified in bytes (rather tha KB or MB).

If you don't specify anything for the usergroup attachment permissions, those will be default max. sizes (This happens by default)
