Banning/Restricting signups based on types of emails.

I think its more trouble than its worth to ban the free emails. Given your comments, why even bother to have a forum?

nope, i was given the option, all i had to do was click option 1 instead of option 2 when signing up but i declined.

Well, given the fact I only use my hotmail account to signup at forums, and not my main account, which is my domain account, and not an ISP account, there would be no need for me to even visit your site.. even if I found it useful, it would be as useless as tits on a nun since I would be immediately turned away.. You will run off more people than you will attract with that type of policy.. however, all of that being said, you paid for the license, and it is your forum.. good luck in the contest..

Obviously our 2 cents are not being taken into consideration, your just justifying your stand using our input, and it doesn't look like your going to change your mind, but only continue to justify your position on this issue. So how about you keep on doing what your doing with your forums, because after all it is yours, and stop wasting our thinking power.

btw.. i never said you were right or worng, nor should you tell any of us we are.. if you want to encourage healthy debate about your subject, don't deny folks the choice of their own opinion and i won't tell you what i think of yours..

also, as i said, you paid for the license, you are free to make your own choices.. good luck with it all..

Well, we are talking about your site, are we not? Therefore, the usage of the noun you, was proper and correct.. Enough said on my part.. Walls don't talk back nor do they further a discussion..

How can you say that all trouble-makers use free email accounts. I have a hotmail and yahoo account and use them lots of the time. I only use my main site email for business :) So that makes me a trouble maker eh? ;)

as DrkFusion has pointed out, you don't seem to be interested in counter arguements.. when something is pointed out to you, everyone aside from yourself, is immediately wrong, therefore, you are always right.. I wish you the best in life.. You will need it at some point..
