is this something I am not allowed to have?? It is implemented on this forums, nothing new...
why nobody from vbulletin.org responded?

Admincp - > User profile field manager - > Edit the Url field, or create something new and make it required

but what happens to the in-script homepage field?

(i know about required custom fields...)

Is this a "tabu" question? I am not ascing for anything new - it is already done right here at vbulletin.org forum. How difficult is to respond for vbulletin.org to this question?

is there a javascript file somewhere that does form validation for this? that would be the only thing I could think of that checks required fields by default without specifying more int he adminCP.. but since I haven't looked into it, I have no real idea..

Ok, perhaps I am not clear about what is exactly needed

When you sign up for vbulletin.org you have to enter username, email, password and url
on the registration form

URL is a "built in" default in vbulletin profile item - there is no access to editing it. And regular distribution lets user enter it via user control panel.
somehow people at vbulletin brought it into the initial registration form - this is what i need to do also.

I know that i can add a required custom field, but if I will do it for homepage then I will have a "double homepage" field and this is not good.

So I am askibg vbulletin.org people to tell me how/what they did for this site or tell me that they will not. So far my question was simply ignored....
