i managed to get the navbar to work in all directories (even those outside of the forums directory) and forgot to document the changes :(

time for running Beyond Compare or Araxis Merge and find the things you did and then comment em :)

i can remember, it was a headerinclude change and then i editted the actual jscript file that controls the dropdowns, but i can't remember if i changed another template and it's handy edit too, especially if you got something like photopost installed outside of the forums directory.

Change all the filenames to have a $vboptions[bburl] prefix, and the same for the headinclude template, job done :)

TBH I have done the same thing as NTLDR, but I would prefer to know how you did what you did sabret00th as it would allow for a less edited navbar (allowing for more flexibility with parent and child stlyes and less template editing with very different styles ...

If you keep working on it I would use it :D

When I installed the homepage I had to do what Lee suggested to get the navbar to work on the homepage right. Why they don't have that as default in vB3, I'll never know.

sadly that's all i can remember of it, although i aint fooled around with it much so that should definately work, if it don't be ready to revert :o :rolleyes:
