Stockmarket Hack?
 

How easy and is it a good idea, to have a stock market hack? Which can be intergrated with a money system.
Members could buy shares, and sell them at the right times.. they adjust all the day randomly

^^ one of my admins came up with the idea when he was waffling on. :D

wow all these are really old (stockmarket requests) ... but I am working on one. :D

Someone I know made a cgi/perl one that he was thinking about letting me use, but I didn't feel like waiting, so I started working on a vb3 integrated one. So far it's looking pretty good, is a bit sloppy codewise atm though. ;)

Currently planning on alpha testing the base functionality of it tomorrow (aug. 28) sometime.

The buy/sell is kind clunky at the moment, but I'm already working on an input system to enter the amount you wish to buy. Will probably implement it sometime over the weekend. Now is just for some testing :)

I decided that I'll be adding more features and stuff, but they will all be optional if you want. *is currently working on them* :)

Just was looking at the stockmarket hack and its very impressive.

@Tekton.. if you need to clean the code to be more vB protocol, just ask,.. i may be available to help you out...

Yeh it is messy, but I'm not too concerned about that yet as I'll clean it up a little later down the road. Currently it's able to integrate into the ushop hack perfectly fine. I've decided to expand the hack and allow users to create their own "businesses" of sorts in a sub-section. Not sure how good that will turn out, but it will be fun to test, if not just scrap at the end. :P
