More admin security.
 
My forum was hacked on May 11th, 2004. We had 146,000 posts, 12,000 threads, and 5,658 Members. The 'hacker' wasn't really the hacker he thought he was. All he did was find out our admins password and he had some fun with it.

Right now, I am requesting a hack that gives permission to 1 user to delete forums, delete usergroups, and mess with vBulletin Options.

Any takers?

Im confused by your reuqest. You just want more admin permissions than secutiry.

If someone makes it, this is what I have in mind.

Register a new username
Give that userid access to delete forums, ban, fix vb settings.

So when someone gets an admins password, they can't do anything and wont know who can.

I hope that explained it well.

Just put up an .htaccess file if your worried about someone getting into your admincp

One of the Ex admins that we never thought would hack us, did it.
