I am looking for a hack that takes the newest thread for a forum and places it in a small table on top of the forumhome just below the welcome panel.

What this would do is each time I make a thread in my announcement forum, that would generate a link under a table entitled "Latest Announcements" and would link people to it on the main page.

I know there is one for vB2 (I can't find it though), because that's what this screencap is from. If there is already one for vB3 and someone knows about it, can you please link me? I can't seem to find it.
