Before Registration Validation
 

The contents of the forum I am going to be hosting is going to be VERY private and invite only. I'm looking for a script of some sort that will verify a specific code that you give a person out of a database and if the code is there, they can join, if not, they can't. Each code could only be used one time and upon using the code, it would be automatically removed from the database.

Basically the process would be like this:

a. They are given a card that has a number on it.. like 38475.
b. They come to our website, sign up. The number is checked during registration against a database that has 100+ other 5 digit numbers.
c. Upon submitting their registration, the 38475 number is removed from the database and cannot be used again.

I dont know enough about hacking the VB code or even where to begin, so i'm hoping someone out there will see this idea as useful and try to expand on it and create it.
