Polling Hack
Here’s an idea that I would really like to see someone tackle. Currently the polling system allows for just “Single” or “Multiple Choice” which is fine for a standard question but doesn’t work well for what we use it for on a regular basis; contest voting. Two things that I would really like to see added to the polling system are:
1. Specify the number of votes each member can haveThe example would be we want to allow three votes for a 1st, 2nd and 3rd place. So we would like each member to have three choices and those choices would be 1st, 2nd and 3rd with 1st equaling 3 points, 2nd equaling 2 points and 3rd equaling 1 point. The poll would then tally the points per vote and display the results as indicated by place based on a point system. Does anyone think this is possible and willing to take it on? |
anyone ? anyone ? been a long time here with this post ... maybe just slipped through ? I was thinking the same thing, how nice it would be to have that ....
Has anyone given it a shot ? |
