Hey Guys,

My site started out as a meeting place for a bunch of friends into on-line gaming.
DMA stands for "Doesn't mean anything"

Using VB3 and Vbindex. Arcade with 50+ games, as well as Photopost Gallery, Photopost Review and Photopost Classifieds.

Looking for some ideas from you guys and gals to get some membership going again.

Any Critique would be welcome.

Well its a buying style, so I don't konw what I would really look at to comment on. The designers work? Or just installed hacks? Not trying to be ruder but thats really it to me.

I was talking about the site as a whole. Sorry, didn't know this was just for original styles....

When you post your link here, expect to be commented on about your styles, forum concept, things like that. ;)

-You need a better link for your forums off your portal. The one in the vB navagation doesn't stand out enough.
-Loading main forum page isn't very fast. Might want to watch out what hacks you use and how many queries they are adding to your pages. Featured Photo's also slows down the speed on the main page.
-Might want to condense your forums, as more forums have no posts than forums with posts.

Thank You Tony, I am going to take your advice on all three of these suggestions. As i have never had more than 10 people on at a time do the queries really come into play?

Thanks for the tips, this is what i was looking for.

As far as the forums with no posts, I had the forums to not allow unregistered or not logged in to view the posts. I have read several people comment on how it is better to allow them to view, just not post unless registered. I changed that now.

And what a difference in load speed of the main forums after taking out the featured photo section. Thanks again

Thought so, the featured photo was using quite a few queries and loading the 5 images doesn't help that either. :)
