PC Review Relanuch

I have just finished transferring the new re-design of PC Review over to my new hosts. I thought it would be a good time to upgrade with vBulletin 3.0.0 :)

I have integrated a gallery/sideball polls etc... and the WHOLE site is powered by vbulletin to make a very powerful CMS. The article admin side is really easy for the editors.

Any comments of how to improve the site would be most welcome :)

Great work, Ian!

Very appealing.

The logo and drop-down menu's could use some work in my opinion. The logo looks a bit out of place. I would suggest a non-antialiased (bitmap) font to use for the navbar. For the drop down items, justify them to the left, and not the center. (as it looks awkard otherwise)

Thanks for the comments :) I'll try altering the menus today, and see how it looks. As for the logo, I'll have to think up a new one before I change it ;)

Looks very clean. I'm curious though, how did you get different images (forum_old & forum_new) corresponding to the forum? That looks very professional IMO.

Thanks!

I just edited some of the templates - I cant remember which one, something like forum_level_nopost and the ones around it in the list.

I changed the status gif from $status.gif to $forumid$status.gif

So, instead of looking for on.gif it goes to 34on.gif etc... ;) I hope that helps!

Makes sense, very nice look! Congrats on the site and the new setup and judging by the volume of guests I'm sure you are destined for success.

Love the look of your site. I especially like your header and navbar images. Well done, can't make any suggestions really. :p
