Catagory Strip Gradient Questions
I was playing some new colors on my forum that I just got running. I liked the way the catagory strips had a gradient but I wanted to try green. So I created the new gradient images in photoshop and replaced the old ones on my server. Then I made the color changes in admincp. Here is what I don't understand:
#66CC00 url(images/gradients/gradient_tcat.gif) repeat-x top left Can someone explain to me how this is supposed to work??? My catagory strips don't really appear to have a gradient or the color is just completely off from the gradient images that I created. Help please. Here is a link to my site....and be gentle...I just got it running and i'm still playing around with colors and all that good stuff. www.mofohead.com |

Actually, the problem on that particular page is with the image paths for the vBadvanced installation.
They work fine inside the forum dirctory http://www.mofohead.com/vb/images/gr...dient_tcat.gif It's more obvious on this page where the Category Strip is taller. http://www.mofohead.com/vb/search.php?searchid=1 You may try giving the gradient some more contrast. |
Cool. Thanks for the info guys. I'll try giving the gradient more contrast or adjusting the gradient a little differently. Any info by chance on how this "url(images/gradients/gradient_tcat.gif) repeat-x top left" code works??? More specifically the "repeat-x top left" portion of the code.
