some dumb questions
 

I am quite new to this.

I see there are some great hacks for older versions of Vb, such as v2.
If I install VB 2 with the hacks I wants, can I upgrade to VB3 and will my hacks work in VB 3?

Also, does anyone know if there is a hack for VB3 that will allow my members to get points and buy stuff such as DVDs, CDs, etc. I see the new uShop hack, but those are for actions within the forum.

upgrading to vb3 works flawless with 99% of all vb2 hacks

but the hacks will stop working after the upgrade except you install the vb3 version of them (if there is one)

so vb2 hacks will not work with vb 3?

yes, something like uCash and vbTrader.

but uCash comes with uShop. I don't want my users to shop for forum stuff like (bold name, glow name, custom names, etc.), I want them to earn points and redeem them for DVDs and etc.

anything like that?
