VB URL Redirecting Hack?
I was wondering if someone could make a hack that allowed you to just set up vBulletin URL redirects. Like how you can have a forum link to an actual link that is not a vbulletin page, can someone make a hack that just allows you to set up these redirects as opposed to making a seperate forum for each link I want to link.
Here is what I want to do. I want to link a non-vb page through vBulletin so that it is protected and so that only members can access it. So if the link is on my site and a non-member clicks it, they will have to register to go to actually view the non-vb page. It sounds like a pretty simple hack. But what would I know... I never know anything. I hope someone can help me out and make a hack like this. :) |
Kind of related, I just want the forum links to off-site URLs to be direct links, not redirects, because this adds no value to the redirected sites wrt Google and page relevence.
edit: just realized this is on a vB2 forum. I have vB3. |
