Setting a user as moderator
 

Excuse me guys on VB3 Gold how can I set someone as a moderator?

On the manual I downloaded from the site there should be the option Addinng or editing a Moderator but I cant' find it in my ACP :rolleyes:

This is probably a question better asked at vbulletin.com since it isn't hack-related ... but as far as I know you simply change the member's usergroup in the Admin CP. Then add them to the forums in the Forum & Moderater section of the ACP, add them to mod the forums you/they choose.

No problems. :) Did that work? I've not worked with vB3 quite as much as I'd like to yet ... and since my site has no mods ... I hope the information is correct.

That's basically it. The only difference from vB2.x is you don't have to put them in the moderator group anymore, you can set it as a secondary usergroup, but you still have to add them to the forum you want them to mod, and iirc, once you do that, it makes them a mod automagically. :)
