What about a german Hacksection ?

What about a german Section for translated Hacks ? :nervous:

If we offered a german section we'd be obliged to offer all sorts of languages. In the end it's up to the end user. Most hacks come with phrases so if people want to translate they can just submit it in the post to the author :) Mind you I think that if vB3 came with a better system of importing phrases and phrase groups via the admincp as default people could just put their phrases in a file ready for import on installation. That way hackers in other languages could just take the file and translate and the author could offer it in the same way as they did in their native language :)

Nope, currently there is just an official German version of vb (see the links on the main page :)).
So we would just be obliged to add other languages if there will be other official languages as well ;)

But thats for the general obligations, i will stay neutral on the actual discussion of course :)

Yes, that I was exactly going to post before I had this problem with my PC ($%^&@).

You can look for it at the German Official Forums.

adding a german hack section would mean condoning people coming on here and speaking in german, thus you get a quite segregated community, i would say you're best to just stick things out with vb-g
