Can you help? Automating board opening and closing

Has anybody got any simple ways of automating the opening and closure of boards - I'm running version 2.3.5?

what do you mean by automatically opening or closing the board?

it shouldn't be hard, i think a threeliner in global.php or so :)

I think that would be good for certain cron jobs (example: db backup) on vB3, too. ;)

Xenon - We basically would like the boards to automatically shut at 10 each night, become read only (ideally) and then come back on again at 10 the next morning.
