Search Feature Request

Is there a website or something that explains, in detail, all the functions of the vB search feature?

I want to have a howto for maximizing search returns, explaining logical separations, wild cards, etc., but I can't find anything that explains the vB search function so that I'll know how to use it myself (I need to master it before I can teach others how to master it).

the vb3 manual should explain that IIRC,
