vBadvanced or vBindex
Looking at the possibility of using a portal instead of a website to go with our new forum. So I'd like to put a few questions if I may:
1: vBadvanced or vBindex, which is easier to install and use? 2: Can either or both generate extra pages that we could use like a database, containing data (information pages). You see at the moment we are trying to put together a website to compliment the forum. We would also like to build in a data base containing information for our visitors. These pages would need to be easily updated or deleted. Which way would any of you go with this? :classic: |

However my best suggeetion would be to setup a test forum and install both. Personaly id tell you to go with vBadvanced, altho being that ive been using it since alpha AND i work with Brain (Tigga) im atad biased (sp?). :) |

Did have a look for most obvious place to post these questions: I'll have another look, maybe see if I can find a similiar thread. Thanks for the reply anyway. |

https://vborg.vbsupport.ru/showthrea...dex+vbadvanced https://vborg.vbsupport.ru/showthrea...dex+vbadvanced https://vborg.vbsupport.ru/showthrea...dex+vbadvanced Are a few of the threads, however I'd to as Zachery suggested and try out both and see which one best meets the needs of your site. |
Has the question "Can I install both at the same time ever been answered"?? I am curious too...

I liked the look of vBindex more, but I prefer vBadvanced, and it is much more powerful.

I agree. I installed vbadvanced on a website that I sold a few months ago and I just installed vbindex on the site I own now. What a breez!! I just wish there was more flexibilty with where you can put things like I would like to have the option to put the shoutbox in the center... |
