Weekly Posters Chart
 

I used to use the forums at what used to be dotmusic.com and there was something there called "The Posters Chart." This was a weekly chart, done manually, where each posters post count for that week was listed. It would list their total as well as the amount posted in the week, it would also display the user with the most number of posts in that week in first place, second most in second place etc. giving a Top 10 of sorts. It was formatted similar to:

1. SlackerAPM: 1234 (+33)
2. UserX: 987 (+24)
3. UserY: 953 (+21)
etc.

Is there a way something like this could be hacked and a thread posted in a chosen forum at a certain time each week displaying such a list? I have no clue about hacking/coding so have no idea how possible this is.
