Adding "Expiration date" option
 

Is there an existing hack to allow setting an "expiration date" or number of days to show a thread before removing it?

We want to use the vBulletin system as an announcement area, but want some postings to expire either the day after an event or after X days of being posted.

Any suggestions would be apprecaited. Thanks!

You can post actual announcements, or set the forum in question to only show threads up to a certain age. The thread itself would still exist, however, but it would not appear in forumdisplay.
