How does vb.org and the RED message when you have new pms? I would like to use it, if possiable.

Open up your navbar template. Find:

Code:

<if condition="$bbuserinfo['userid']">

        

                <td class="alt2" valign="top" nowrap="nowrap">

Replace with:

                <td <if condition="$bbuserinfo['pmunread']">background='http://www.yourdomain.com/forums/images/misc/pmblink.gif'</if>

 class="alt2" valign="top" nowrap="nowrap">

Be sure to change the URL to reflect your forum location. Then you have to make a blinking GIF file that you put in that image spot. You can have it blink and change background color or make a message like vB.org uses.

can someone attach the gif that you used for the blinkpm.gif? I just am not sure what size to make it exactly. Thanks!
