News Section Request - similar to VBAdvanced and VBPortal
 
im looking to put the news from a certain room (ie. my news room) on a non vbulletin page

i want the latest news threads and any attached pictures to be displayed with the news up to say a few hundred characters - when the user clicks on the news thread link they are taken to the news room

this is already done on vbadvanced and vbportal etc - i have used both of those scripts before and theyre great - but i dont need all the extra functionality that those scripts have as i will be integrating other scripts onto the site
