Admin/Moderator mod/hack

I'm looking for a hack that would create a mini-admin with access to edit forums and sub-forums (admincp forum manager) that they have moderator rights to. and nothing else. I plan on having parts of my forum that others can manage, but i dont want to let them have full access to the forum manager. (such as delete forums and edit forum permissions)

Anyone know how to make this work?

Thanks in advance.

Ever check out the already implimented features, they would have access to all forums though if you made them an admin

Thats what the problem is.

I made a new usergroup, and set it as an admin. Then I changed the admin permissions to that group to only have access to 'Forums & Moderators'...

But when you set them admin, they get access to the whole 'Forums & Moderators' part of admincp, which is what I dont want to give them - access to 'Forum Permissions' and some parts of forum manager (delete and edit of forums where they do not have moderator status)...

It would be nice to delegate SuperMods with certain admin abilities such as to be able to change a user's settings!!!

SuperMods can currently do this in the AdminCP but then they are able to shag about with all the other settings too!!! :nervous:

You can copy the admin php file and strip out the stuff you dont want. Toss it in a new folder for those mods to access and voila.
