Profile notes for mods and admins
 
i have been toying with trying to make a hack for the user profiles of members where mods/admins can post comments about the user and is also only viewable by the mods/admins. i am having trouble and am wondering if there is a hack like this already that i missed when searching. i am running 2.3.4vb and if anyone is able to help it would be greatly appreciated. thank you in advance.

My thoughts before going to sleep is:

Add a custom profile field which can be set to viewable for mods/admins only. Then use phpmyadmin to change the field type to 255 characters.

Thats the simple but of course, this is vb.org - we strive for excellence! (I sound liek a commercial)

lol nice commercial :) i had thought about that but want it to be able to be used by all mods and admins as well. allowing for the staff to add notes and updates on the user.
