What the heck

What the heck, my vBulletin v3 is messed up. I think it's my computer but I think my computer is corrupting the files. Is there a way to upload the files without using my computer?

If possible could someone do it for me? It's pee'n me off.

First off, what are the specific problems? Have you done anything recently?

Secondly, try re-uploading the files.

Yes - not down you account num,ber and password, download vB form the member area using another computer and upload it.

But I doubt you computer is currupting the files ... except you got an AMD Athlon/Duron with VIA 686B Chipset and a SoundBlaster Live! or smth. like that.

I think it's a virus I have, or my computer. It's being lame as ever.

Then you should get rid of the virus first and foremost, before attempting anything else.

Also try using AdAware to get rid of any spyware and adware that may reside on your computer.

And don't forget the 3 basic rules of internet safety:

1) if you use Outlook Express, you are not safe against viruses etc;
2) if you use Internet Explorer and visit new (unknown) websites often, you are not safe;
3) if you accept files, attachments or anything alike from people you don't know, or that have an extension that is either unfamiliar or not a plaintext or image type, you are not safe.

There's tons more but those three form up the majority of why viruses can spread so easily, at the moment.

For more security:
1) Don't use IE
2) Don't use Outlook (Express)
3) Don't trust anyone or anything on the internet

For even more security:
1) Don't use Windows
2) Learn linux.

And if Linux is not enough: User OpenBSD :p
