Banner Administration for VB 2.3.4

Ok so im trying to use the banner sorfware that comes with VB 2.3.4 and im not really please with it's basic features. How can I get my banners to expire by date not only by expressions? Also How can I upload banners from the CP?

Any help would be appreciated. I was told there might be a hack for this?
