Delete Users with dead email accounts?
 

hello, I have close to 30,000 registered users and I send out a mailer once every 2 or 3 weeks. What is happening now is my mail server is having a hard time dealing with all of the bounces I get every time I send out (I'll get 4000-6000 bounces)

So, I want to delete old accounts with email addresses that no longer work.

Is there a way? thanks!

Take alook at vBouncer, you can edit this to delete users instead of unsubscribing them from threads.

Ouch...thats alot of bounced emails.....this would require a hack that would take time to develop. If you happen to have a list of those then there is a small script that could be created to delete those accounts which would help you out faster than waiting on someone to code one that would use a cron job to periodically run through all those emails and check them.
