Auto Delete Posts...

A lot of users on my forums post really useless things like:

1. Repost
2. IBTL (In before the lock)
3. Free Post

These are really useless posts and sometimes cause problems. I would like to be able to set some key words that would actually cause the post (Not the thread) to be automatically deleted and also have 1 removed from their post count.

I know this could be a very useful feature for quite a few forums.

Why not just put them in the miserable user group? ;)

It has become a big trend on my board for users to post such phrases. I would have to put 50% of my users in this group.

Would you want it to remove posts consisting ONLY of the word, or containing any reference of the word?

For example, would "Dude, don't say IBTL, that's stupid!" be deleted as well as just a post of "IBTL!"?

People would get around such things as posting, "I - B - T - L", etc.. However, someone with a legitimate question, "Hey, could someone repost that thread about XX?" would have their post deleted without just cause.

Im mostly concerned with people who just post these words and nothing else. Its a form of free posting. If they typed a long post I would want to leave it.
