replacement hack wanted
 

hi folks

does anybody knew if there is a hack or similar that replace's all http::// or www only in threads or replays with for example h**p:// or w*w. But only replaced in threads or replays. Should not be replaced in Signature or mails or other things on vbb..

You can do that with a query. Why do you need to do this?

Sorry i don't knew how u would make it with a querry... Hmm i need it, because i don't wanna have some full links in my vbb... Do u knew how i can make it with a hack?

Why do you want to do this?

I can give you a query that will replace every http with h**p but it would be good to know what your trying to do.

so it ist because in here in switzerland we don't like full links in boards... so this is only in threads not in signatures or mails and so on. That means when somebody makes a thread wieht a full link like http://www.aaaaa.ch this must be h**p://w*w/aaaaaa.ch . But as i said only in threads and replies .... All the other links in Heads, signatures , pn's and so on must be original..

I hope u understand what i mean..

What is your concern. What are you trying to prevent? If I understand your problem I or others can hopefully come up with the best solution.

Don't worry... its my own privat board... i just want to have no full links on threads... but i can try to make it by myself.. There is nothing forbidden or so.. IIt is just an idea from me..

I'll ask again. What is your concern? Why do you not want to have a link with the complete address?

it's for his own private use, you have no right to ask that or to know, if he doesn't want to tell, that's his business, if you're THAT worried, then don't give him your query
