How about license of VB3???
 
I mean that my friend has bought license of vBulletin. If the new version of vBulletin is released (version 3.0), can he get the free upgrade from the old version to the newest version?

Please don't laugh me! Thank you!

When someone buys a Owned license they get access to free updates for 12 months after original purchase date. after that they may renew their subscript for 30 usd.

If its a leased license they get updates for 12 months and then there contract is terminated and they can no longer run the instaltion unless they renew their lease or buy a full license.
