[2.2.9]-->[3.0.0] Attachments as Files Problem

I?m running a board with a quite a few hacks including The Store and Scott MacVicar?s Attachments as Files. I now want to upgrade to V3.0 (when it goes Gold), we don?t want to carry any of the 2.2.9 Hacks over.

As far as I can tell I need to run the Database Conflict Detection Script and fix any problems, then after the upgrade any database tables and/or fields that were added by hacks to my 2.2.9 board will simply be ignored. However I have a problem with the Attachments as Files Hack. Having read through the support thread it?s evident that VB3 stores attachment files in a different way, and to upgrade you have to re-import the attachments into the Db before upgrading. Now, we have a MySQL Db limit of 100Mb, my board is currently 60Mb and my attachments (currently stored in a folder on the web server) are almost 90Mb :(

Does anyone have any suggestions as to my best way forward please?

Cheers
Simon

Search is your friend...Scott has posted a fix here and on vbulletin.com.

Thanks for the reply Dark Wizard, I've searched again and come up with the same solution I found before (attachment_upgrade.php) however that does not solve my problem. 90Mb attachments + 60Mb forum data takes me 50Mb over my alloted 100Mb MySQL Database.

Any other suggestion?
