How to do this?
 

Hey guys,

I'm trying to add banners or text in the area thats circled. I don't have the first clue as to where to do it. I have a banner rotation in the header, but where is this section located?

Edit your FORUMHOME template and add whatever you need to under $navbar

but is there a way to do it so it appears across all the sub sections? right now, its just on the forum home page so when you go else where, its not there.
