Edit: just saw the sticky thread above :( Remove if you feel inclined

I did a couple of searches but didnt find a "sure enough" answer to my question

I want to access the vB cookies from a non-vB page (without even the global.php included) so that I can use the username cookie for form functions

My question is A: is that possible (cookie is set for whole domain in vB, not just the forums directory) and B: what are the variables stored in the cookie?

Such as $BBUsername etc?
