add 2 posts to post counter in a special forum

Hi guys,

I'm using myvbportal, the news for the portal-page are fetched from a News-Forum. This news forum has moderated threads, so everyone can post a thread (and therefore news) in this forum that will be shown as soon as I moderate it.

So, I thought about rewarding Newsposters by adding 2 Posts (instead of one) to their postcounter if a thread in this special forum has got through the moderation.
Is this possible?

Note it is for vB3 though. Not sure if the vB2 version was released.

Thanks a lot for your help.

However, I already found that hack for VB3, but I couldn't find $doposts in any of my vB2 (2.3.4) files.... I searched the whole directory.
bummer. That would be exactly what I need, though.

Best bet is to pm Erwin asking him if he has plans to release it for vB2. Be nice though ;)
