I thought I would move this over to the appropriate forum for discussions about the progress of my hack. I would also like everyone to post your comments/suggestions here as well and not in the vbWar 2.2 thread.

Currently the hack is coming along nicely and still needs alot of work. The admin piece is almost complete (approx. 70%). I am rewriting everything for the most part and redoing the Access Permissions differently with this version as well as member management.

I have posted some screen shots of the current admin piece and the vbWar options as well. Enjoy!

just for those unfamilliar with the vb war concept is it possible to provide a demp#o or a brief description.. is it like the vb battle hack ?

This is a Clan Management System in that you can manage your members, wars/matches/scrims along with the results, join apps, challenge requests, servers and their stats and clan news.

This was based off of vWar which can be seen here.

For the first beta? No...hopefully sometime next week, not sure when though as I have alot to do still....

Well, my clan has some problems mainly due to planning stuff...

We got

1. Alpha team, playing ladder games
2. Bravo team, playing co-op tournements
3. Azzcup, a tournement we?re hosting ourselves
4. A ladder site
5. Generel stuff...

So we have a massive problem planning stuff, getting reminders, scheduling etc etc... So some advanced planning option would be cool, since we?re about to start another thing, bringing yet more probs scheduling and planing...

What can I say, we?re a busy clan :D


Oh yeah!

An option to specify the different gametypes for the games would be cool aswell...

Other than that, I think the sg?s looks very promising.. Good work!

The Divisions part of the hack should help you in that part if not what else could I add?

Can You make a sg of the division options, then I?ll try and make some suggestions other might find usefull aswell...

If my clan should move from PHPBB+PHPNuke to VB, wich we?re hoping to be able to do, since VB is much more configurable than PHPBB, we need the following options...

VbWar -Since we use a "PHPBB version", wich are essential to us.
Gameserver list - Possibility to list our publicly available gameservers.
Teamspeakserver list -Publicly available comms servers.

And since You allready working on the two first, I?m pretty sure, that nomatter what, I?ll be a happy puppy :)

That?s basicly what a clan of our size needs, besides the planning options and a load of sponsors :D
