Overwriting Deleted Users
I have to delete alot of users that come to my forums XP not your concern why. But i need a hack that will do the following:
When the next person joins they overwrite a deleted user For example John's User ID is 12. There are 33 members on the forums. Instead of the next person joining as 34 i want them to overwrite the deleted user's account *i delete all deleted user posts anyway* so it saves me having tons of user ID's that come up as non existant. Does anyone think it's possible? |
This has been an ongoing discussion for a long time now. No, there is really no way to do that, that I know of. Because if you change 1 user's id, it affects all of the users on the board. Threads started by that user, as well as posts. PMs, file attachments and a host of other things. It would cause a lot more problems than it is really worth. ;)
