An idea i would like to see
 
This is a feature i would like to see on my forum....

I have approximatley 2,500 users on my forum - all subscribed to the news letter on sign up.

most people on my forum use Hotmail/Yahoo and other free E-Mail providers.

What i would like the Mod/Hack to do is send out an E-Mail verifiction E-mail to the registered account on a monthly basis - which if they reply to will keep them live on the newsletter mailing list - if they dont reply, as these accounts are usually found over there quota or closed.. they are removed from the newsletter list.

The account will stay active... But it stops me/my host getting 600 bounced mail errors in whenever i send out my Newsletters.

Anyone willing to take on this project or would like to see a similar mod ????

The author of vBounce (for vB2) was supposed to be updating there hack for vB3. This does a similar thing to this, after X failed emails to an account it unsubscribes them from threads etc to prevent bounced emails.
