alright :) some general questions
first thing's first.
I have a seperate database that I use for VARIOUS other things.... now what I would like to be able to do is, pull my information from the database, which I do know how to very well... I am getting really good with php... but I have never really used templates much. my question is - how would I can you run a query and set a new array - $my_info[] perhaps, then use $my_info[] within the postbits template? and how do i set new conditionals to be used? any help there is greatly appreciated :) next up. what table in the database has the # of users currently online in it? i figured it woudl be sessions - but that doesn't quite match up from my page to the forum home... so, thats not it :) i had more, but I forget them.... thanks in advance! |
