Posting Required Before Poll Voting
 

First vb3 hack and it took me long enough. Although the modification isn't very large I think it is quite useful.

What it does?
Basically it requires users to post their reasons for their poll vote before they're allowed to actually vote on the poll.
This can be used to get more feedback from polls than just the ordinary check how many votes their were.

Tested and Installed On vb3 RC 1

This hack comes packed with a complete installer, uninstaller, completely vbphrased, uses adminhelp feature, and bitwise permissions. Open the zip and upload the install_postb4vote.php to the admincp directory and run the installer.

This is an excellent idea. But is it possible to have this working only on polls the admin selects to use the extra function?

I could attach one, but the hack requires the installer to perform a language update that is required to be done. I can make one with the queries and file mods though if you want.

You can use forum permissions to do it per forum, but it is possible to have it as a poll option, which I can do.

EDIT: Do I need the zip file for asny of this stuff?

Boofo you need to run step 4 to update the vb3 language but other then that no.

Note that if you installed this hack please download the new zip and upload the new install_postb4vote.php to the admincp directory and run step 4 to updated the vb3 language properly.
