Remove author column?

Is it possible to remove the author column and the row with the Profile, PM, Email, etc links, from threads in a single sub-forum?

Follow-up: I did a search on this over on vB's site and found a post that sort of came pretty close to this type of request and someone suggested creating a new style to apply to the section. I downloaded a copy of the default style but and pretty lost when looking at it.

If this a good way to do this, what exactly should I look to remove from that style?

Thanks,

Chris

Hi Liam,

Sorry it was a toss up between here or "Modification Requests" and I didnt think it really qualified as a "unique idea for a mod". Admin, please move if needed. Sorry.

Anyway, I guess I should have attached a screenshot. Here is one with the areas I was looking to remove in the style(?) maybe.

Thanks!

Chris

Hey thats fine mate, come to think of it the request you made is a template edit, and basically you would be told to go to www.vbulletintemplates.com as that is where templates are dealt with nowdays.

But im kind so ill help, The part your aiming too remove are in your POSTBIT template. If you need more help get at me on MSN, i believe my address is in my profile on here :)

I'd like to take a moment to give a huge thank you to Liam (MindTrix) for taking the time yesterday and nailing this out for me. This morning I realized part of my original request shot me in the foot if I ever wanted to edit the listing, so after a little fine tuning, its all good!

Thank you very much Liam!

Chris
