time based forum
 
Hows about a hack that could make a forum only be open at a stated time (going off the main boards time and not the users). It would be nice to have a board that only opens for a couple of hours a day that isn't moderated(to a point) and cannot be accessed at any other time, like an adult tv channel if you will...

I think i've made such a hack already.

Features:
In the Forum Manager you can specify for each forum
- If it is "time limited"
- The timeframe when it will be open (hh:mm-hh:mm)
- If all threads should be soft- or hard-deleted when the forum goes off

Is that what you wanted to have?

Is there anything on this?? I can't seem to find it as I am sure it's from an older version as this thread is almost 5yrs old to the day...

I'm looking for something very similar to this as I would like to have a forum open within a certain time on a daily basis... Any ideas??

Sorry for opening up a 5yr post... :)
