This is one hack I would like to see for vb3, unless it's built in and I missed it somehow.

Something similar to this, or maybe Chen will port it over for vb3?

As it is Chen's hack, only he is allowed to port it over, only thing i can suggest is PM'ing him on here asking if he has plans to convert it, Be nice aswell ;)

And he's said No, No, No, so basically we're forced to "break the law" :rolleyes: or learn to live without this handy feature.

I know I'll be making this hack eventually, but I wont be allowed to release it here. Guess that means that it'll go elsewhere and be available for pirates, too. Go vB.org!!!1!

Why aren't people allowed to make their own version of a vB2 hack for vB3 so long as they credit the original author? That's a real stupid limitation to put on people. If someone who made a really useful hack for vB2 had died and wasn't able to release it for vB3, how would we all know? Would we all sit on our hands and wait for the dead guy to update it? :rolleyes:

I made something similar, but it is also different. Check my profile for the vb2 hack. I will probably port something similar over. Not sure if thats what you're looking for.

Update for those who care:

I'm working on the Add Who's Online Locations for vB3. The idea for the hack is, of course, originally Chen's (well, not even that. He was just the first person to turn the idea into a concrete, existing hack), but I'm using 100% my own code and research. I'll ask the vB.org staff if it's okay for me to release it (once done - I'm not entirely there yet, but this hack is very easy to make with the HTL ^_^) - if not, it'll appear on a different site....
