Switched servers, now getting errors in emails.

Hey guys, I recently switched my website to a new host, and I keep getting error messages via email daily.

I probably get like 5 to 10 a day.

Here is one of the many that I get :

Database error in vBulletin :

Link-ID == false, connect failed
mysql error: Access denied for user: 'wildondallas@localhost' (Using password: YES)

mysql error number: 1045

Date: Sunday 28th of December 2003 01:50:47 PM
Script: /forums/calendar.php?
Referer:

They are all pretty similar, but not exactly the same.

Can you guys advise me on what needs to be done to fix these errors ?

Thanks in advance.

You probably have to update your config.php to update the mysql database username and password in order for the vb to connect and access the database.

that is a good point there g-force but I need to ask, is your forum otherwise functioning bolynn?

Thanks for the replies guys. I have already updated the config.php. The forums and vbportal, and even photopost seem to be working fine to me, after updating necessary files. However, I still receive ALOT of these error messages daily, why is that?

Thanks for the help guys!

If its the error listed above then you are using the wrong mysql password :)

I am not quite clear on this...As if I was using the wrong mysql password, my forums, vbportal , and photopost would not be working at all, correct ?

Are you saying that I need to check my config files again, and make sure the password is correct? I thought that the forums would not function at all if password was incorrect?

From the web surfers perspective, everything seems to be running just fine, but I get these error messages daily..

I get more errors than just the one above, but they are all similar..

Thanks in advance..
