Lose your skin at vbskins...

Well, I really try to work things out but you can't if nobody cares at all on the other side. I purchased a skin at vbskins.com over a week ago but didn't receive it. Since then I sent three separate requests to their support and to different areas (they have help desk software) and it appears nobody is looking at them and they remain "unassigned." I was wondering if anyone else had such problems there and can only say that my experience there is that they don't seem to care at all if you have a problem...

I'm hoping that others seeking to purchase skins don't have the same unfortunate experience at vbskins. I have had good experiences elsewhere.

Search is your friend. There is a thread here about this already.
Seems you're not the only one to have a problem with getting paid for services.

Here ya go read this and make sure to follow the links in the first post.

Wow... thanks AWS. Whoa! That said, does anyone have a copy of the vbskins' Ekko skin? I would love to get the copy which I paid for and will be glad to show receipt of payment if necessary! Many thanks...

I wanted a skin from there but I guess I wont get it now. Not if they rip people off. Is there any other sites with black and blue themes like the nexus skin?

Not that I am aware of...

MaDCaT75 - I have noticed that over the past few months, you have become very outspoken and rather dislikeable...

Recently you PM'ed me, demanding that I give support to one of my vB2 hacks which I released quite a while ago...

As I say in all my threads, Support will only be given in this thread - Please refrain from PM'ing me again about the matter, and as I explained, I will deal with the situation when I am ready and have time to, not now...

I know I am not a staff member here, but I am an adult member of society who does not appreciate listening to your constant moaning and whining about a person, company, hack or style which does not fit your liking, does not do what you want it to do, or who does not offer the services you require...

It has become tedious to have to view your slating posts about vBskins and vBskinz and several other people and companies, both on here and on vBulletin.com...

Please stop and re-think what you post, and think how it may offend others in the community...

I do not know how old you are, but you are acting like a spoilt 14 year old - Please stop... I am sure there are others who share the same view here, but unlike them, I am willing to say it in public...

I realise I cannot make you do anything, but I'm hoping you do something about this, before you end up saying the wrong thing to or about the wrong person or company...

How off topic is that!!

Chris M 12-13-2003 02:39 PM

How stupid are you?

These are all questions we ask, but the answer is no-one cares...

There is another thread for the discussion of vbskins, so this should already be closed...

I beleive Dave# is talking about your rant about MaDCaT75 being off topic.
That would be better said to her directly by PM. It added nothing to this thread and was totally off topic.

Getting back on topic, the bottom line is this -- no matter what your experience was at vbskins or with this guy Corey Wojen who allegedly runs this place, he is completely awol for unacceptably long periods of time. If one of you has done business with him and it worked out, great for you. But it seems that there are a growing number of people who are having problems and I had no response for three messages sent for two weeks. It's sad but true. I'm glad that at least these messages have gotten this far because places like this are the havens for vb design and if those guys can advertise or ply their wares here (as they do), then there certainly should be a forum when they don't behave properly -- especially when it comes to people's money.
